Sex offenders arrested

Investigators from New York and New Jersey joined forces on Friday and arrested six Long Island men for failing to register as sex offenders.

Samuel Dash, 44, of Bellerose, Charles Austin, 40, of Flanders, Simeon Thompson, 21, of Wyandanch, David McBee, 52, of Bay Shore, Anthony Mondo, 50, of Bay Shore and William Wrenn, a 41-year-old homeless man in Farmingdale were arrested following the investigation.
