A memorial site dedicated to the 100 people killed in the Station nightclub fire was recently unveiled during an anniversary ceremony honoring those who died.
Today marks the 10-year anniversary of the fire at the Rhode Island club that started when pyrotechnics were lit during a performance by the band Great White. [embedgallery id=114039]
The sparks ignited flammable foam inside the walls of the club. Survivors of the fire and family members of the victims spoke during a memorial service at the site that was held on Sunday.
Many visited the crosses and memorials erected there to honor their lost loved ones.
