A soap opera actor reportedly committed suicide after his pit bull was euthanized last week.
Nick Santino, who had performed on “All My Children” and “Guiding Light,” committed suicide Tuesday, a few hours after Santino, 47, had to put his 5-year-old pit bull, Rocco, to sleep, according to The New York Post.
Rocco was put down after Santino’s condo board at One Lincoln Plaza told him they did not want the pit bull in the building, according to reports. In his suicide note the Post said he wrote, “Rocco trusted me and I failed him.”
