State Police in Medford responded to Broadway in Somerville early Monday morning after a cyclist sustained serious injuries from a crash with a motor vehicle.

According to police reports a 19-year-old Somerville resident biked through a red light and got hit by a Hyundai Elantra traveling on route 16, near the Broadway intersection.
