Special needs man disappears from Northeast day program

Police are looking for a 24-year-old special-needs man who disappeared Monday from his Northeast Philadelphia day program.

Police are looking for a 24-year-old special needs man who disappeared Monday from his Northeast Philadelphia day program.

Ivan Hinnant was last seen at the program's office, on the2400 block of Penrose Avenue, about 2:15 p.m.

Hinnant stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 300 pounds, police said. He is described as having a heavy build, brown eyes, medium complexion and short black hair. Hinnant was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt and black sweatpants, police said.

Police said he is known to visit the Franklin Mills Mall near Knights Road.
