Scott Stringer and Eliot Spitzerwill face off today in a debate of the race for city comptroller.
The Spitzer campaign announced they will be maintaining a "rapid response website" to "fact check" everything Stringer says during the debate, citing his "volume of false attacks" as a concern.
Within the first 10 minutes of the debate, Stringer noted that Spitzer was set to face money-laundering charges when he was caught soliciting prostitutes as governor.
Spitzer responded by calling Stringer's criticism "ad hominem attacks."
