Pennsylvania State Police will break ground tomorrow on a new Philadelphia barracks.

State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan and Department of General Services Secretary Sheri L. Phillips will join state and local officials for the groundbreaking.

Officials will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Belmont barracks, according to a news release.

The new facility will be built on the 2000 block of Belmont Avenue.

Spring 2015 is the expected completion date, according to the news release.
