In "Sundays at Rocco's," a man remembers the building his grandfather once owned on the Lower East Side. His entire family — aunts, uncles, cousins, everyone — lived in the building together.
That all came to an end when, Nicholas Petron recalls, the city condemned the block of buildings to build brand new apartments.
