Two men were due in court Monday after they allegedly got into a fight with their roommate that resulted in the man dying.

Robert Westbrooks, 50, and Edward Aguiar, 40, were charged with domestic assault and battery, according to the Norfolk district attorney’s office. Authorities released few details about the incident.

Authorities said Jonathan Munro, 52, was taken to a hospital from his Stoughton home Saturday afternoon and was pronounced dead. His death apparently followed an “altercation among housemates,” according to the district attorney’s office.

Because the autopsy had not yet determined the cause and manner of death, Westbrooks and Aguiar have not been charged with Munro’s death.

Authorities said that the men were just some of the several adults who lived at the home.

“This investigation remains very active, and we are awaiting further results of the autopsy,” Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a statement.
