A 38-year old Astoria, Queens, resident leapt in front of a Times Square R train late Sunday night, according to the NYPD. Witnesses told the Daily News that he shouted out a phone number saying, “‘Call my wife … I’m going to die.’” He survived and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition.
