Superfan, Freddy Sez, dies at 85

NEW YORK. Yankees superfan Freddy “The Fan” Schuman, aka “Freddy Sez,” died Sunday at age 85. Schuman was a Yankee Stadium fixture since 1988, banging a frying pan with a spoon and bearing slogans on homemade signs. He died of a heart attack, according to reports. The Yankees were to hold a moment of silence for him prior to Game 3 of the ALCS tonight.
