Groups opposed to two recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions plan to hold a "Supreme Rally for Women’s Equality" Tuesday afternoon on Boston's City Hall Plaza.
The rally, which will include pro-choice groups as well as the ACLU of Massachusetts and the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, will focus on the court's decision to strike down the state's 35-foot "buffer zone" around abortion clinic entrances.
Protesters will also voice outrage over a separate ruling that found some companies with religious objections, such as craft specialty chain Hobby Lobby, can avoid Obamacare's contraceptives requirement.
The groups contend that the rulings put women at risk and make it more difficult for them to access reproductive health services and contraceptives.
The rally begins at 5 p.m.
