A man accused of shooting another in Philadelphia's Germantown section Thursday night surrendered to a SWAT team after briefly holing up in a house there.

 

The shooting suspect took refuge in a home on the 6600 block of Crowson Street while fleeing from police, according to a report by 6ABC Action News, but gave up when SWAT officers surrounded the house.

 

The 29-year-old shooting victim is said to be in stable condition. He reportedly was shot in his thigh on Hortter Street just after 11 p.m.
