Suspects sought in Radnor home invasion

Authorities are investigating yet another home invasion involving an Asian business owner last night in Radnor Township.

Radnor police said the couple returned home on Brooklea Road around 11:30 p.m. and were accosted by three men who forced them inside the home. The couple and their daughter were allegedly tied up, as the suspects went through the house and took cash and jewelry.

The victims were able to get free and go to a neighbor’s house to call 911, police said.

Police are investigating whether the incident has any connection to a home invasion in Haverford Township in April. They believe the family may have been targeted because they are Asian and the father is a dentist with offices in Philadelphia and Coatesville.

There have been several reports of home invasions involving Asian business owners in the Philadelphia suburbs in recent years. Several people have been prosecuted and federal authorities have urged residents to be on the lookout.

The suspects in last night’s attack are reportedly three black males wearing masks and baseball caps.
