Suspicious package reports up throughout city

In the wake of Osama bin Laden — and on the eve of President Barack Obama’s visit to Ground Zero tomorrow — more New Yorkers are seeing something. And saying something.

62 suspicious packages were reported to the NYPD on Monday, the day after news of bin Laden’s death broke, according to NBC. Compare that to last Monday where 18 suspicious packages were reported to the NYPD.

Several New Yorkers called in to report this suitcase found at the Wall Street 2/3 stop this morning. The police investigated it and found it to be empty.
