Local favorite Jack's Abby Brewing announced some devastating news for lovers of its lager. A tank sprung a leak on Wednesday, spilling gallons of beer.
Avert your eyes, beer lovers.
Local favorite Jack's Abby Brewing announced some devastating news for fans of the Framingham-based craft brewer.
The company said on its Facebook page on Wednesday that gallons and gallons of beer spilled out of a tank and onto the floors of the building.
A tank holding a batch of Jabby Brau, which was to be bottled Wednesday morning, blew a gasket and sent the beer spewing across the brewery. The entire batch was lost, Jack's Abby said.
The company posted a video of the spill on its Facebook page.
But have no fear, lager lovers. Jabby Brau will still be available.
"We have enough inventory of kegs that we should not run out of stock, but we will be out of bottles until the beginning of January," the brewery said.
