A 16-year-old was shot and killed last night in the Haddington section of West Philadelphia, police said.
The victim was hit around 8:20 p.m. at 62nd and Callowhill streets, reportedly in a drive-by shooting. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but succumbed to his injuries early this morning.
According to multiple media reports, investigators believe the teen to be a bystander caught in the crossfire or the victim of mistaken identity.
