A teen was critically injured when he was struck by a tractor trailer in Bear, Del., early this morning.

The accident happened about 2:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 40, near Lagrange Avenue, 6ABC Action News reports.

The victim, 19, sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident. He was crossing Route 40 near the Delaware State Police Troop 2 barracks when he was struck by the tractor trailer.
