Two people were killed and three young people remain in critical condition after a gruesome car accident on the Major Deegan Expressway early this morning.
The driver, 30, of a Chrysler Charger, lost control of his car and slammed into a concrete pillar on the highway just after midnight. He and an unidentified passenger were killed. Three other people in the car, a 16-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, and a 21-year-old-man were seriously injured and remain in critical condition. The man was driving erratically before the accident, according to The Daily News.
