Temple University announced today that students will see in an increase in tuition starting this fall.

The university's board of trustees approved a $600 tuition increase for undergraduates which equates to a 3.69 percent increase.

Tuition will be $14,006 for Pennsylvania residents and $24,032 for out-of-state students, according to a news release.

Mandatory student activity fees will remain $690.

Last year tuition increased by 3.6 percent. There was no increase in the 2012-13 school year.
