Thief snatches iPod from toddler's hands

Police are searching for a female suspect they say snatched an iPod from a 2-year-old boy's hands in the Bronx.

The boy was walking with his mom, 18, about 5:20 p.m. on Sept. 7 when the suspect approached the child, grabbed the iPod out of his hands and fled. The child was not injured.

Police released this photo of the suspect.

Anyone with information in regards to this Grand Larceny is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
