Over 60,000 homes in the city lost power over the weekend due to the storm, and over half of those homes still remained without power as of 1:30 this afternoon.
According to Con Edison, 32,000 homes were still in the dark Monday, many of those outages due to downed trees on power lines. Queens was the worst hit; 21,000 homes there didn’t have power, followed by Staten Island, where 6,700 homes lost power and Brooklyn, where 2,100 were in the dark.
