Firefighters battled a blaze that quickly became a three-alarm fire at a Bronx home Tuesday morning.


The fire department said 138 firefighters were dispatched to the Soundview home on Taylor Avenue, where a fire had broken out about 7:30 a.m. and soon engulfed the building.


No injuries were immediately reported, the fire department said.


The fire was brought under control about 9 a.m., the fire department said.


The cause of the blaze will be determined by fire marshals.
