District Attorney Seth Williams said the public helped with an "outpouring of information and tips."
"This vicious attack shocked the entire country," Williams said in a statement. "An assault on people because of their sexual orientation has no place in Philadelphia."
On Sept. 11, around 10:45 p.m., two gay men were attacked by a group of people near 16th and Chancellor streets. Surveillance video showed a group of about 10 or 15 women they said may be responsible for the attack.
