Three Council Rock High School South sophomores were killed Saturday in a car crash in Northeast Pennsylvania.

The three students — Ryan Lesher, 15; Shamus Digney, 16; Cullen Keffer — were driving around 11:30 a.m. in a Chevrolet Suburban with three others inPaupack Township,Wayne County, when the vehicle overturned.
The extent of the other passengers injuries have not yet been disclosed. The crash is under investigation.
"It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the deaths of three sophomores from Council Rock High School South," according toa statement posted to the district website from Mark Klein, superintendent of the Council Rock South district. "Council Rock offers its sincere condolences to the families of these students and to all who are grieving this terrible loss."
The district will make counselors available for students and parents, according to the district's website.
