Three people were injured in an industrial accident in Chester County Thursday night.

The incident occurred at ArcelorMittal's Coatesville plant just before 10 p.m. when a bucket of molten steel exploded, 6ABC Action News reports.

One victim was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with burns. Two others were taken to Brandywine Hospital for treatment.

 

ArcelorMittal's Coatesville plant, located on the 1000 block of South First Street, is a steel plate production facility.
