Three people were stabbed inside a Center City diner early Monday.

 

The triple stabbing happened about 12:30 a.m. at Midtown II Restaurant at 11th and Sansom streets, NBC10 reported. An argument between a group of people sparked the attack.

 

 

The victims all arrived at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in West Philadelphia by private vehicle and are in stable condition. A 51-year-old man sustained injuries to his chest and hand, according to the report. A 37-year-old man had stab wounds to his arm, and a 26-year-old man sustained a cut to his hand.

Philadelphia police spent the early morning hours investigating the attack.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with a thin build and facial hair.
