An eight-month-old girl is in critical condition tonight after a six-car crash in Delaware, media reports say.
Newark Police told CBS Philadelphia that the crash happened around 11 a.m. Thursday on Capital Trail at the Windy Hills Bridge.
According to the news outlet, a Dodge Neon, which was driven by a 36-year-old woman and occupied by two small children, slid on the icy roadway and into the path of a Honda Accord. A 75-year-old was driving the car, and a 75-year-old female was his passenger.
Another Honda Accord attempted to avoid the accident and hit a Nissan Altima. The Altima then spun into a Toyota Highlander. A Hyundai Santa Fe was also unable to avoid the collision, and struck one of the involved vehicles.
