Police are investigating the death of a 1-month-old Manayunk boy this morning.
The toddler was found unresponsive in his crib at 7:04 a.m. at the family's home on the 200 block of Cotton Street. Doctors pronounced him dead at theAlbert Einstein Medical Center at 7:47 a.m.,said Police spokeswoman Officer Christine O'Brien.
Homicide and Special Victims Unit detectives are investigating the matter, O'Brien said.
"Anytime there is a death, even if it's an adult, if they can't see something obvious, they'll hold it as a sudden death," O'Brien said. "And I don't know if it's been determined yet whether there were any signs of trauma to the body."
