Top cop’s son charged with assault

The son of the Boston Police Patrolman’s Association President Thomas Nee was arraigned this week on assault charges.

Edward Nee, 17, allegedly punched another man at a party last weekend, according to the Quincy Patriot Ledger. He also is accused of hitting a girl who tried to break up the fight.

Nee’s brother did jail time for plotting to attack students.
