Transit cops seek armed robbers

Men held up teen with knife for baseball hat

Transit Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of men who used a knife to rob an 18-year-old at Downtown Crossing.

The men confronted the teen at the Marshalls earlier in the day, police said.

They crossed paths again at the Downtown Crossing T station and this time the men took the teen’s baseball hat. When the teen demanded it back, the men pulled out an 8-inch knife and then fled, according to police.

The robbery took place about 10:40 a.m. Friday. Police issued a wanted poster of the men today.

They described the men as two black males in their 20s or early 30s. One wore a red baseball cap, a white T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and red Nike sneakers. The other man wore a green baseball hat, a green and white basketball jersey and jeans.

Anyone with information can call 617-222-1212.
