The MBTA held a Red Line train at JFK/UMass and again in Braintree after a female passenger said she lost her pet snake Penelope yesterday afternoon.
Red Line officials isolated the car for about four minutes but had no luck finding the snake. After all of the passengers exited, they again examined each of the six cars to no avail.
