A Tufts University student said he was the victim of an attack by a stranger while out walking near campus early Wednesday.
The assault happened at about 1 a.m. on Dearborn Road in Somerville, Tufts University police said in a student advisory.
The student said he was walking on Dearborn Road near College Avenue when three men approached him and one punched him in the face. The student ran to the police station and was not seriously injured.
Somerville and Medford police were notified.
