Turkey Hill Dairy has issued a voluntary recall of certain ice cream products sold in the Philadelphia area becausesome packages may contain metal shavings.

 

The Lancaster County-based company issued the recall on Friday.

 

The following products are affected by the recall:

Consumers would have purchased the affected products after Oct. 1.

The three products affected by the recall were delivered to stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland. Turkey Hill notes it has not received any reports of metal shavings in its products or of anyone becoming ill or injured by the possibly contaminated ice cream.
