Twenty-year-old man shot to death in Kensington

Police said Justin Anthony Carter, 20, was shot and killed on Emerald Street near East Cumberland Street in Kensington.

A 20-year-old man was shot to death Wednesday night in Kensington.

Police said the victim, Justin Anthony Carter, was shortly before 9:40 p.m. shot multiple times in the torso on Emerald Street near East Cumberland Street.

Carter, of the 2200 block of Moore Street in Point Breeze, died at Temple University Hospital about 20 minutes later.

No arrests have yet been made.

As with all homicides in the city of Philadelphia, there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
