Two people were rushed to the hospital late Thursday after a fire started in their Mantua home.

The residential fire on the 1100 block of North 42nd Street was reported to Philadelphia Fire Department about 11:30 p.m., 6ABC Action News reports.

The home's second and third floors sustained smoke and fire damage, according to the report.

Two residents of the home were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment of unspecified injuries.
