MBTA Transit Police said two men were arrested for trying to sell prescription drugs at Quincy Center station Friday.
Michael Brennan, 25, of Weymouth, and Steven Burke, 24, of Quincy were arrested after an undercover Transit Police detective allegedly caught the men trying to peddle pills at the station.
Transit Police Department's Internal Task Force was there "to
address drug activity," according to a statement by police.
The undercover detective allegedly had a conversation with Brennan and
Burke in which, according
to police, both men agreed to sell the detective Suboxones, a class B

After the deal went through, members of the Internal Task Force "discreetly moved in" and arrested Brennan for distribution of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Burke was also placed into custody for conspiracy to violate the drug laws, police said.
Brennan allegedly had more than 40 Suboxones pills on him, according to police.
The medication is used to treat opiate addiction.
Both men are due to be arraigned in Quincy District Court tomorrow.
