Two men reportedly were stabbed outside a bar in Northeast Philadelphia early this morning.

The incident happened at about 2:24 a.m. at Sheffield Tavern, at Sheffield and Jackson streets in the city's Holmesburg section, police said.

A 22-year-old man was stabbed two times in his left shoulder. He was taken to Nazareth Hospital, where he was last reported to be in stable condition, police said.

There also reportedly was a second man stabbed in a fight that spilled out of Sheffield Tavern onto the streets. Police, however, did not have any information about a second victim this morning.
