The city’s homicide rate continued to climb as police yesterday said one of the men shot outside a Roxbury bar last weekend died and another man was fatally shot Monday night on Geneva Avenue.
The unidentified man was shot about 1:49 a.m. Saturday at the Breezeway Bar and Grill on Blue Hill Avenue. A second man was shot there and transported himself to the hospital that night for injuries that were not life-threatening. He was the third person killed in shootings that took place Saturday.
Another man, described as being in his 30s, was fatally shot about 8 p.m. Monday near 400 Geneva Ave.
No arrests have been made.
