Two teens shot in Juniata Park

Two teens were shot early Saturday morning on the 4100 block of Markland Street in Juniata Park.

Police said the victims – both of them 17-year-old males – were around 2:45 a.m. shot once each in the calf and ankle, respectively.

Both victims were rushed to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where they were placed in stable condition.

The teens were two of five victims wounded in three separate shootings within a six hour period Friday night through Saturday morning.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were hospitalized in critical condition after they wereshot shortly after 9 p.m. Friday in a playground at the Lower Mayfair Recreation Center.

A 26-year-old man was in stable condition after he was shot shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday outside an apartment complex in Olney.

No arrests had yet been made Sunday in any of this weekend's shootings.
