Rutgers student Tyler Clementi checked his roommate’s Twitter feed 38 times, saving some of the posts written about him before he killed himself in 2010, according to court testimony today.
An investigator told the court that Clementi visited the page of Dharun Ravi, on trial for bias intimidation and invasion of privacy.
Ravi allegedly wrote posts that included, “Turned on iChat and saw my roommate making out with a dude. Yay.”
Clementi took screenshots of two tweets, the investigator said, and visited the Twitter feed again four hours before he jumped off the George Washington Bridge.
