It’s a beautiful day for a run.
But that’s not the reason why more than 100 UMass Boston students stripped down to their undies and took a run through campus today.
Today was the first Undie Run on campus. Students brought old clothes to the run, which were donated to local homeless charities.
Phi Tran, one of the organizers, said students donated about 1,000 pounds of clothes through today’s event.
The Undie Run is a national effort in various cities that raises funds and donates clothing to various charities.
