UPDATE: New video shows shooting of 8-year-old Bronx boy

UPDATE: New video shows an 8-year-old boy who was shot in a ride-by last night in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx.

The New York Post posted a video of the boy, who they identified as Armando Bigo, taken shortly before someone rode by on a bike and fired into the store.

The bodega owner told the Post that Bigo did not cry after he was shot. Instead, he asked his mother why she was crying and even thanked the store owner for applying pressure to the wound, he said.

The shooting was around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Randall and Rosedale Avenues.

The second grader, who is in stable condition after the bullet went into his shoulder, had reportedly gone to the bodega with his mother to buy potato chips.

An NYPD spokesman said they are searching for the suspect.
