A 20-year-old man was found stabbed at a Cambridge park near Harvard Square last night in what police said appeared to be a random attack.

Nicolas Baker, 25, of Vermont, will be arraigned in court sometime Monday. He was charged in the attack, according to state police.

Police were called to John F. Kennedy Park near Memorial Drive on Sunday night for a report of a stabbing. Baker allegedly stabbed the man numerous times, according toWicked Local Cambridge.

State police said that the attack appeared random. Police said that Baker walked up to the man, mumbled something about being robbed in Oregon, and stabbed him.

The man was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
