The University of Pennsylvania will host aninternational conference on homelessnessthat will bring together researchers and advocates from across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, the college announced today.
About 75 presenters will introduce research on "homelessness prevention, permanent supportive housing programs, outreach activities, risk profiles for veterans and homeless families, and system gaps," according to a news release.
The two-day conference runs from June 3 to 4, and will stretch from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Houston Hall, at 3417 Spruce St.
Shaun Donovan, secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will deliver the keynote address.
