Upper Merion home destroyed by fire

A home in Upper Merion Township was destroyed by fire early Tuesday.

 

The fast-moving fire gutted the home on the 200 block of South Gulph Road, but it did not result in any injuries, 6ABC Action News reports.

 

Police officers spotted smoke coming from the home about 1:30 a.m., and they were able to help three people out of the house. It took about a half-hour for firefighters to bring the fire under control.

 

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
