Philadelphia police are looking for a man caught on camera Sunday afternoon snatching an iPhone from a SEPTA rider during a strong-arm robbery.

Investigators said a man, 19, was riding the SEPTA R bus shortly before 11:45 a.m.

The victim can be seen on video standing near the front of the vehicle across from the suspect, who patiently waits for the bus to come to a stop at Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue.

As the 19-year-old is looking down at the phone, apparently texting, the man snatches the iPhone from his hands and flees the bus on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion.

He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt with white writing on the front, gray jean shorts and black-and-white sneakers.
