A comedian and former New York City cab driver decided to prank riders by poking a live python at them and recording their reactions.
Jimmy Failla, who performs regularly at Gotham Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live, rented the cab from a medallion owner, The New York Post reported.
The video of the prank shows passengers jumping, screaming and desperately trying to flee the moving car.
"We are clearly going to actively question this person's suitability to continue holding a TLC license," TLC spokesman Allan Fromberg told the Post.
Failla said he was just promoting a book and having fun. None of the riders in the video have filed a complaint against him.
