Some CUNY students are not happy that former CIA director David Petraeus is teaching at their school.
A mob of those students made their feelings quite clear when they followed Petraeus on the streets of New York shouting at him.
A video titled “CUNY Students Confront War Criminal David Petraeus” shows the incident, which apparently spanned several blocks. There were occasional profanities and chants of “Every class, David!” and “Petraeus out of CUNY.”
“That’s Petraeus, he’s a war criminal!” one heckler shouted to passersby.
At one point, a poker-faced Petraeus jaywalks in an apparent attempt to evade his pursuers, but they don’t let up, and one angry student nearly gets himself run over by a city bus.
Petraeus recently had his compensation for the course he’s teaching part-time at the honors college cut from $200,000 to $1. The class is called “Are We on the Threshold of the North American Decade.”
