The Riders Alliance, in its continuing struggle for a better G train, has released a workout video poking fun at the oft-criticized Brooklyn/Queens train line.

The video opens with some friends meeting for coffee. Two Greenpoint residents lament that they never see their friend anymore, since he moved out of Greenpoint. The friend glosses over that with a casual "I know," and moves on to marveling at his old friends' apparently new physiques.

"Did they open up a new gym after I left?" he inquires.

The Greenpointers exchange a knowing smile, retro workout music kicks in, and they're off and running — literally — to catch the train.

Riders Alliance is encouraging supporters to "exercise" their right to a better G by signing a petition lobbying for more frequent trains and free transfers to nearby stations.
